There is no one who did not grow up reading Disney stories and falling in love with the characters. Even for me it was my first crush, my comfort and my gateway.
I distinctly recall where my aunt and uncle would buy me and my cousins Disney books from Jaigoan every school break, or I would win some through the competitions at school. I can still feel my happiness going back to the memory cuz during those days nothing made me as happy as Disney stories. Probably my love for reading can also be credited to the Disney stories.
Likewise I also remember how me and my sister would borrow CD from Osang to watch those movies. I also recollect how I crazily collected the Disney stickers and even carried a pink Disney school bag during my 7th standard. Back then it was one of my favorite possessions. I must tell you my love for Disney was crazy and too passionate back then.
Today, as I saw the Disney character out of the book on the land I couldn’t hold back my excitement and happiness. I am sure the 10 year old me would be so happy if she knew I meet all those characters and witnessed them create a story in real life and reach for the sky to catch their dreams. She would have been more passionate about reading and pushing forward to fulfill her dreams and not just go with the flow. Nevertheless, I want to relay to her that the she has made it to the fairytale which she never even dreamed of and she too shall have a happy ending just like in those stories.
A happily ever after.
